Mulberry Grill & Bakery
Mulberry Grill & Bakery is a family owned restaurant that is known for our made-fresh-daily food. Our restaurant is located directly off of the Katy Trail in Rocheport, MO and is also known for its hand crafted brick oven.
The story of our business really started when my Dad (Bruce Henson) decided to trade his professor's robe (he has a PhD in sociology) for his carpentry tool belt and baker's hat. He built the kitchen, patio and wood-fired brick oven all with his own two hands. The big wooden counter top was designed from a Missouri Amish sawmill and our oven was designed by Rado Hand ( http://www.traditionaloven.com/ ) which Dad constructed while modifying it to the materials that were available here in the States. The oven can reach temperatures as hot as 800 degrees and can cook our personal 10 inch pizzas in under 2 minutes.
Along with our pizza dough, Wheat being made fresh each week, we also pride ourselves on our sauces and fresh ingredients. Our pizza sauce is made simply from tomatoes along with our own special blend of spices.
